Old infrastructure but actually well run station. A number of options for local bus rides as well as trips to Bangkok (three operators)

Conveniently located in the city and a good option to be able to travel comfortably in VIP bus from Korat to Bangkok. Ticket cost 220 baht.

Dwarfed by the new bus station, this terminal is for local destinations plus Bangkok. Needs modernising.

100% Korean review! Hello, I am InRoll Korean!!! This is the bus stop used to go from Korat to Bangkok. Unlike any worries, you can wait for the bus very comfortably. If you take the bus I used, you will be very satisfied. You can use the TV in the rest area, and there is air conditioning and charging outlets, so you can wait for more than an hour without getting bored. If you're worried about whether the bus is coming, just tell them at the place where you bought the ticket and they'll let you know, so don't worry. I don't know about other places because I haven't used them, but it was a quiet place with no people. thank you

2022.12.30 I went there to ride a songthaew bound for Phanomwan. Conveniently located within walking distance from the old town. Many songthaews seem to start from here. There are also buses to Bangkok that leave from here, so you can return to Bangkok without having to go all the way to the new bus terminal.
